When will the park open?

The current plan is to open in late 2027.

Why is that date so far away?

Fundraising takes time.

Why Battle Creek?

I believe Battle Creek is the perfect place for a skatepark. It is centrally located between Chicago and Detroit. It’s also surrounded by many other large cities including but not limited to Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, and Lansing.

Why paid/indoor and not free/outdoor?

Michigan has a five month snowy season. There are plenty of outdoor skateparks, not so many indoor parks. In fact, there are only seven easily accessible indoor skateparks in Michigan.
